We’ve made some updates to our Policies and Procedures regarding paid advertisements. Paid digital advertisements have caused some confusion with our online corporate presence. When a potential customer clicks a paid online advertisement, they think they are visiting our corporate website, when in fact, they are not. Using paid online advertisements is not a productive way of getting quality results. They are also impossible to manage.

As we continue to grow it becomes even more critical that we maintain consistency and brand integrity across all online platforms to guarantee strong, organic results for everyone. Please review Section 19.3.iv of our Policies and Procedures, which now states:
Pay-Per-Click Ads and Sponsored Links
a) Sponsored links or pay-per-click ads (PPC) are NOT acceptable.
b) Traffic may not be purchased in bulk through a “traffic acquisition vendor.”

In short, paid advertising of any kind is NOT allowed effectively immediately. What does this mean?

Can I bid on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other ads?
No. It is in violation of our Policies and Procedures.

Can I pay for ads that boost my ranking?
No. It is in violation of our Policies and Procedures.

Can I create my own blog?
Yes. As long as the blog content is not in violation of our Policies and Procedures.

Can I still post on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other online platforms?
Yes. As long as you are not using paid ads as your content on these and other platforms.

You have until Sunday, December 18, 2016 at 11:59 PM (MT) to comply. Please contact LaRane Kasteler, if you have questions or concerns. Thanks for your cooperation.
